Freshman Heather Pilcher scored a career-high 20 points in Boise State's 62-52 loss at Fresno State Monday night in a battle between the defending WAC co-champions. Unfortunately for the outmanned Broncos they could not get their shots to fall for them most of the night hitting below 30 percent during the contest. They fought hard throughout the game but ran out of gas down the stretch. The loss to the Bulldogs snapped the Broncos' 15-game conference win streak. |

The football bowl season is winding down. Cold weather means time to stay indoors. What better way to warm up in the winter months than catching fire with Boise State basketball. The defending conference champion Bronco men currently sit at 10-3 and host all eight WAC rivals between now and March 7th. |

Kurt Cunningham scored 14 points to lead Boise State to a 70-58 win over Hawaii Saturday in the Western Athletic Conference opener for both teams. |

The Broncos opened defense of their 2008 WAC title by stretching their league win streak to a school record 15 games. Boise State never trailed during the game and led by as many as 14 points as they claimed their fifth-consecutive win over the Vandals. |
